Sean Oh

Prior to Asia Partners, Sean was part of the founding team of GXS Bank, a digital bank consortium formed between Grab, one of Southeast Asia’s leading mobile technology companies, and Singtel, one of Asia’s leading telecommunications groups, playing a key role in product strategy. He was also a core member of the strategy and business planning team of Grab Financial Group, across its digital payments, lending, insurance, and wealth businesses in Southeast Asia.

‍Sean was previously part of the New York-based investment team at ZZ Capital International, a Hong Kong-headquartered global private equity firm focusing on growth and buyout investments in financial services and technology companies. He started his career as an investment banker at Citigroup in New York, where he focused on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing activities.

‍Sean graduated with a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics (First Class Honors) from University College London.
