At the time of our investment, they had a clear leadership in India and an emerging presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. We were impressed by the management’s strong on-the-ground execution which had resulted in them working with over 400 multi-location brands in the region already. We saw significant potential value creation through strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia and expanding to new markets globally, on the back of increasing digital adoption amongst consumers and businesses alike.
