Bio
Dan Neary is a technology veteran with over 30 years of executive-level experience in both US-based and Asia-based roles.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Asia Pacific for Meta from 2013-2025 where he led the setup and company’s business operations across the region.
Prior to Meta, he was the Vice President of Market Development at Skype, managing local marketing channels and partnerships across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. He led this thru a spin-off of Skype from eBay to Silver Lake Private Equity and subsequent acquisition by Microsoft.
Prior to Skype, Mr Neary was the Vice President of Emerging Markets at eBay where he managed the company’s businesses in Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. Mr. Neary began his career at the Kellogg company and led its expansion activities across Asia. In his last role, he was the General Manager of the company’s Greater-China business and based in Guangzhou, China.
In addition to his leadership roles in scaling large companies, Mr. Neary is also an experienced entrepreneur. He was the Managing Director of McRand International (acquired by Krause), COO of Vendio (acquired by Alibaba) and Co-founder of TravelMob (acquired by Home Away).
Mr. Neary is on the Board of Directors for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and for Liven Pty. He is a Board Advisor for Asia Partners and Tanglin Ventures.
Mr. Neary received his both his BS and MBA degree from DePaul University, USA.
